Why Shift?

The world is facing unprecedented challenges: climate change, fake news, increasing polarity and inequity, and a global pandemic to name a few.

In this moment in time we have a rare opportunity to shape the new normal and only one thing is certain, the future we create will depend on our leaders.

Maria Raines created Shift Practitioners to amplify the impact of the skilled leadership consultants, coaches and educators in her network and to ignite a movement to shift leadership

While listening to Australian artist Lynette Wallworth speak at Davos 2020, she was struck by this insight:

“This is a time for new leaders - for youth leaders, for women leaders and Indigenous leaders - and for those who can work with them.” 

Maria knew she, and others in her network, were ready to work with these new leaders and help usher in a new paradigm.
